Jumana Couture is a UK-based company who operate mainly through Facebook. It was set up by two sisters to bring to the UK market a range of trends initially from the Middle East that are difficult to get hold of here. The Black Lacey Pleats scarf measures 192cm x 56cm and consists of black chiffon fabric with pleats going down both borders, and a lace overlay down the middle. I love the chic design of this scarf as it makes use of different textures to add interest, as plain black scarves tend to be pretty mediocre! The scarf is really easy to wear and is perfect for teaming with patterned dresses and tops. Although the lace is delicate, you can still use straight pins through the pleats to secure it in place.
The Luxury Embellished scarf measures 184cm x 58cm and is made of black jersey fabric with blue and black embellishments across one side. It also has the word 'Kashka' embellished in rhinestones on one corner. The scarf is pretty heavy but the fabric is great quality and super-soft. I did find though that it takes some time to work out how to style it as the embellished length can be a little stiff. This is a real statement scarf and perfect for evenings and special occasions. It is also available with gold embellishments.
Overall I was impressed by these scarves from Jumana Couture. The designs are unique and certainly stand out from the majority of scarves available on the market. You can see the other scarves and clothing available over on the Jumana Couture Facebook page.
